Head of Sound (Technician) at Warwick ArtsWarwick Arts Centre is looking for a reliable, adaptable and intuitive Head of Sound to join the team. If this sounds like somewhere you would like to work, we would like to hear from you.You will lead up the sound department within the Technical team and play a pivotal role in bringing live events to life, supporting the delivery of all technical aspects of both our live program and conference events. It is essential that you are a communicative, collaborative, positive and pro-active individual. You will have responsibility for one other sound technician in the team.In this role, you’ll specialise as a sound technician, and will have experience in advancing, rigging sound systems, patching and the running of shows, together with some practical AV knowledge. You will liaise directly with both internal staff, visiting companies and hirers coming into our venues, obtaining quotes and prepping for their arrival. You will have experience of front of house engineering live medium scale gigs and also operating shows for theatre productions. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the highest standards of technical presentation for all events while maintaining a keen awareness of health and safety regulations.Flexibility is key in the event industry, and you’ll need to be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
