Position: Head of Sales Location: Remote, UK based Salary: DOE + Equity Our client is a rapidly growing Point of Sales solutions provider offering a variety of solutions to merchants looking for a fast and reliable system. Having recently obtained funding they’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Sales leader to join their team and help their clients achieve their goals. Job Summary The Head of Sales is a leading executive responsible for leading and implementing sales strategy across the United Kingdom. This role involves the oversight of all sales-related activities, including growing a sales team, setting sales targets, developing strategic sales plans, generating and closing new leads, and collaborating with other departments to ensure overall business success. The Head of Sales is expected to demonstrate exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, Collaboration, and a strong business acumen. Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. Oversee all sales operations. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners. Analyze industry trends and market changes to adapt and improve sales strategies. Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Work closely with other departments to align efforts and optimize sales potential. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. Provide detailed sales reports, revenue analyses, and actionable insights to the executive team. Establish sales processes and infrastructure to support the growth and scalability of the business. Engage with potential clients and build a high profile in key markets through participation in industry events, networking, and public speaking. Drive a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement. Requirements 10+ years’ of experience selling payment gateway/processing solutions in sales at a senior sales management level, with a demonstrable track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience in developing and implementing GTM strategies and sales plans. Strong business acumen with expertise in specific experience in selling Point of Sales solutions. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills. Exceptional negotiation and customer service abilities. Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.
