Tasks And Responsibilities
Lead the ATMP business development team, setting comprehensive business development strategies and goals to penetrate the ATMP market, exceed sales targets, and foster a culture of high performance.
Nurture and maintain strategic partnerships and client relationships to enhance market presence, foster mutual growth opportunities, and develop a robust pipeline of business opportunities, whilst ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from conduct of thorough industry research, lead generation, contract closure, analysing market trends and competitor activity.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments including Quality, GMP Operations, Process Development, Marketing and Communications to enhance brand visibility, promote our capabilities to generate and support sales conversion efforts.
Conduct sales forecasting and market analysis to make informed business decisions and BD strategy adjustments, and report progress to senior stakeholders.
Represent the company and participate in key industry-specific conferences, trade shows, and networking events, to gather insights, enhance network connections, and establish strategic partnerships.
Manage the recruitment, training, and development of the business development team, while assessing performance and fostering skill development.
What Is Important To Us
BSc or MS degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in leading business development or sales in the ATMP or related industry.
Demonstrated success in leading business development or sales activities ideally within the ATMP or biologics sector.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office, with excellent analytical and reporting skills.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
Self-motivated with a track record of achieving sales targets in a dynamic, fast-paced market environment.
