Role Overview: As Head of Safety Operations, you will collaborate with the DHSW to execute a forward-thinking Safety agenda aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals and ISO standards. You'll provide expert advice to promote positive safety behaviour across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Support DHSW and management teams with Safety and risk management.
Work with support functions to establish long-term safety improvement programs.
Develop proactive safety strategies for the workforce, supply chain, and community. Implement education and communication strategies to enhance safety awareness.
Act as a subject matter expert on safety practices internally and externally.
Manage risk-based assurance programs to monitor policy effectiveness.
Ensure service quality initiatives align with UK standards and customer expectations.
Recommend and implement activities for a consistent approach to workplace safety interventions.
