This is a fill time, permanent role based on Aylesford, Kent.
Salary: circa of £75,000 per annum, dependent upon experience
Main Purpose of the Role:
This role is accountable for managing RBLI’s retail division, developing retail strategies to hit annual revenue and customer acquisition targets. The role will encompass the management of RBLI’s online shop, sourcing physical new retail opportunities, exploring licensing opportunities for Tommy products, as well as the development of new products lines and customer markets to ensure sustainability and longevity of the retail operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning:
Develop and grow RBLI’s retail strategies in order to hit annual revenue targets.
Develop corporate partnerships at both local and national levels.
Develop and optimise an acquisition and stewardship funnel to procure new supporters, ensuring that their lifetime value and fundraising potential of each customer is maximized.
Identify new retail audiences and markets to ensure that RBLI’s supporter base continuously develops.
Identify and develop new product ranges to maximise revenue and supporter acquisition across all of RBLI’s potential markets.
Develop and maintain an effective supply chain for RBLI’s retail operations, ensuring that internal manufacturing capabilities are utilised effectively, and developed in line with market demand.
Secure opportunities for Tommy products to be sold in physical retail outlets.
Secure licensing partners for the Tommy brand, secure additional retail income.
Plan and execute retail digital marketing/campaign activities to acquire new customers and clients, and to supplement product launches.
Analyse online visitor traffic and behaviours to enhance customer experience and improve outcomes.
Day-to-day Operations:
Manage RBLI’s online shop to ensure that it is up-to-date and optimised at all times.
To establish and maintain product retail opportunities for third party retailers and licensees.
Work with the Fulfilment Operations Supervisor to ensure that SLA’s are being adhered to for internal and external clients.
Develop RBLI’s product offering into a broad and profitable portfolio.
Work with internal teams to funnel and progress retail customers into RBLI supporters, increasing their lifetime value.
To develop and assess pricing sheets for all new and existing products to ensure viability.
To oversee all retail and fulfilment communications to our customers and internal database.
To manage customer and client expectations at all times.
To work alongside the E-Commerce and Customer Service Assistant to create and publish all online shop content, including photography, descriptions and regular shop customer communications.
To plan, run and optimise all retail digital advertising campaigns.
People Management:
Undertake all HR related activity and processes as requested by the HR Department of your direct reports, absence management, performance management, investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings and annual appraisals.
Ensure that training needs are assessed, implemented and monitored for all team members where appropriate
Implement Investors in People in the division as part of a Company-wide initiative.
Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, providing training as appropriate and health and safety measures as required in order to comply with legislative requirements.
Promote by example the high standards that RBLI expects of its employees and volunteers when representing RBLI and support staff and volunteers to understand and reach these standards.
Promote good data protection and information security principles within your team
Personal Attributes:
Confident and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise workload in line with seasonal campaigns/ busy periods.
Well organised, with great planning skills, an analytical mind-set and a strong attention to detail.
Possess well-developed customer and client relationship skills, suitable to both a B2B and B2C market.
Requirements for the Role:
Essential:
Experience in e-commerce, retail, licensing and fulfilment management.
Experience in developing corporate partnerships
Strong written and spoken English language skills.
An understanding of the e-commerce marketing funnel.
Ability to manage customer and client expectations, building stronger relationships and developing retail opportunities for RBLI.
Financial astute with the ability to forecast sales, profit margins etc.
Demonstrable evidence of success delivered in an eCommerce based business.
Desirable:
Previous experience with the Shopify platform.
Previous experience with digital marketing, including email marketing, Facebook advertising and Google campaigns.
Previous experience in creating fulfilment pricing matrixes.
Previous experience in retail licensing
Previous experience in securing corporate partnerships
