We are recruiting a Head of Retail for a Manchester based FMCG Manufacturer who are have been trusted with many loyal customers for a number of years.They are now at a pivotal time in their journey and this role will be integral in delivering on multiple business objectives.Why this role?No 1 in their category they have been trusted by many loyal consumers for years, you will have an opportunity to grow this customer base.Accountable for a large team, this will be a chance for you to develop and increase performanceThis role has light at the end of the tunnel, there is appetite to develop the successful candidate into a Sales DirectorOur client..This successful and growing manufacturer remain family owned, they are one of the largest suppliers in their category with an estimated 1 in 3 people using their products. With a growing work force they have significant plans to achieve more, this is backed up by ambitious owners who are committed to achieving this through people and in particular this role.The role…Customer relationships are at the forefront of this business and this role will focus hugely on how you can make that better and more efficient. Managing a large team of Account Managers who all managing Top 4 grocers there is huge potential to develop and nurture a great team.What experience are we looking for?First and foremost we are looking for an inspirational leader who can drive change. You will be experienced in Grocery and have worked in FMCG, ideally you will have worked in an organisation that is agile and fast moving.
