We are looking for an experienced Head of Retail to join our client, who is an up-and-coming international fashion brand based, driven by the new era of social media the company has grown rapidly in the last 3 years and we are now supporting them in their next stage of growth.
The ideal candidate will be a Manager with relevant retail, marketing, and sales experience
Job Specification
The Head of Retail must ensure business goals achievement in terms of managing existing stores to profitability, territory penetration, opening new stores/pop ups and following the entire opening process.
Reporting To The Managing Director, You Will
Generate leads through online and offline advertising campaigns including pop ups and temporary store, to ensure the department meets company targets for new franchise store openings, sales, profitability, and EBITDA.
Organizing all store operations and allocating responsibilities to personnel. Supervising and guiding staff towards maximum performance. Preparing and controlling the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.
Manage potential franchisees organizing collective and individual meetings.
Monitor recruitment plans and verify leads alignment with the ideal profile.
Manage the draft of commercial franchising contract, including contracts renewal.
Choose the optimal location for new stores.
Design and Construction: to monitor new stores launch, respecting deadlines and layout standards.
Define goals, budgets and manage reporting of franchise sales.
Person Specification
5-7+ years of Retail experience, including a proven track record of success.
Proven ability to lead a team, relying on extensive experience and judgement to accomplish sales goals.
Proactively managing and monitoring team performance against sales objectives providing coaching and performance management to improve individual and team performance.
Strong experience in coaching and mentoring others.
Highly developed business acumen and ability to understand the wider issues of the market.
