As theHead of Retailyou will be responsible for overseeing this multifaceted retail operation and will embed world class operational practices. You will create and execute a comprehensive strategy, will identify market trends and consumer preferences and have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape.Through your strategy you will drive sales, customer experience and profitability. You will lead and manage a senior leadership team across all Nanushka’s retail locations and head office retail operations. You’ll create a culture of creativity and will lead by providing clear direction and setting stretching yet realistic performance expectations.
Your opportunity
To develop the store's turnover by managing the sales team, expanding the customer-base and establishing customer loyalty, employing Nanushka’s sales strategy and image.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the global performance of the full Nanushka retail network, including flagship, popup and outlet locations across Europe, United Kingdom, North America and China. (currently 5 stores and 1 outlet)
Oversee and ensure global sales budgets, controlling costs, retail margin and profitability across all doors.
Responsible for store expansion strategies, exploring potential opportunities and building business case studies to present to management.
Ownership in delivering on sales budgets and goals set for the retail stores, and cross departmentally to achieve desired results.
Develop strategies to increase store traffic and sales including; in store seasonal events, clienteling outreach programs, marketing collaborations and store activations.
Understanding and communicating the full Nanushka vision & strategy with a clear direction translates into the retail environment.
Manage, employ, onboard and coach a group of high-achieving individuals, making sure tools and support networks are in place ensuring performance at the highest ability.
Work collaboratively to ensure there is a seasonally appropriate representation in all stores in line with company strategy on allocation.
Work collaboratively to ensure stock management, replenishment and consolidation is effectively managed
Identify and implement areas of improvement in client experience, clienteling actions & loyalty strategies from first time buyers to VICs.
Attract and recruit new clients from personal network and external partners
Foster an inspiring and motivating environment where growth of the business and people go hand in hand.
Ensure in store operations including stock management and visual merchandising standards are understood and adhered to by all direct reports.
PnL ownership
The Ideal Candidate:
+7 years experience in luxury or advance contemporary retail management
Experience in China retail landscape essential
Entrepreneurial mindset and inclusive leadership style
Highly organised, communicative and adaptable
Proactive nature with a solution focus mindset
High attention to detail in relation to client experience and loyalty
Strong clienteling strategies with an omni channel approach
Sales frame of mind with the objective of outperforming business plan targets
Strong analytical and reporting skills
