We’re looking foran experienced leader to join us as we shape our new strategy and recommit to supporting a strong third sectoracross Dumfries and Galloway. As the Head of Resources and Development, you will oversee sound process, practiceand policy on key areas of organisation effectiveness, including financial management & income, people,organisation performance, governance, resources and administration. You will also support colleagues in thedevelopment of key programmes, including further development of our Fund Management operations and our newCommunity Transport Programme, giving advice, direction and input to their success. As a member of our SeniorLeadership Group, you will contribute to the overall leadership of the organisation and develop keyrelationships with partners and stakeholders, including the Scottish Government, local Council and NHS. To besuccessful, you’ll join us with experience in a finance and/or corporate services leadership role and anunderstanding of charity operations. They have an outcome framework that they have to work within, but how that is done is very much based onlocal need and diversity within the geography and nature of the Third Sector in that area.About the CJPThe Highland Community Justice Partnership (CJP) was established in 2016 in response to the new Community JusticeScotland Act (#####). The role of the Partnership is simply to work better together in partnership to helpprevent offending and reduce reoffending.About this RoleThe model for community justice in Scotland places local strategic planning and delivery of community justiceservices through Community Planning Partnerships.
