Head of Residential and Commercial PropertyAre you a 10-year PQE Residential and Commercial Property Solicitor seeking a new challenge with a leading Firm as Head of Residential and Commercial Property?Our client, accredited with both CQS and Lexcel certifications, recently acquired by a prominent Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners ranked Firm are in search of a Solicitor to join them as Head of the Residential & Commercial Property team.Located near St Albans, the Firm has been dedicated to serving the community for over fifty years. Offering services across a wide spectrum of residential and commercial conveyancing services, including property sales and purchases, remortgaging, as well as the acquisition and disposal of land, plots, and units. The primary focus of the workload will be residential property work (80%) while also encompassing management responsibilities for commercial property matters (20%). In this role, you will play a key part in promoting, overseeing, and enhancing the team handling private client and property matters across all office locations.What will be expected of you?To conduct own matters independently and to supervise colleagues in your branch, and across other offices as necessaryTo oversee the work of the Fee Earners and Assistants in your branch, and across other offices as necessaryTo liaise with other teams regarding department’s needs; to include, Staffing, IT, Training, FinancesTo assist with Marketing and Business Development activitiesExperience dealing with CQS and Lexcel along with overseeing Lender Panel and Land Registry requirementsDelivering a timely and high-quality service to clients while maintaining a motivated teamThe Firm:Our client maintains an unwavering commitment to providing high-quality services and attention to all clients, a value shared by every staff member.
