Job Description
Ciphr has a new opportunity for a Head of Quality Assurance. You will be joining an organisation where you will work with a team that is goal driven and people focused.

Location:
The role is remote within the UK but require occasional travel for meetings.
See below the daily tasks of a Head of Quality Assurance:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program to ensure the quality of our software products.
Manage a team of quality assurance engineers and influence the development team to provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to help them grow and develop their skills.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and customer support, to ensure that quality is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
Define, document, and implement testing processes, standards, and procedures that adhere to industry best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Work closely with product management to ensure that product requirements are clear, testable, and achievable, and that quality is built into the product from the beginning.

We would like you to have the following skills:
Evidence of the ability to define a QA strategy / Approach
Ability to drive towards further automation
Foster a culture of investment in people and collaboration, demonstrating strong teamwork skills
Good agile / DevOps working skills + ability work in delivering in regular / small increments of value
A strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on-time and within budget
Experience in hiring and developing quality assurance talent
Experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and tools
What success looks like in the role:
Define and drive the effective implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that ensures the quality of software products
Manage a team that delivers high-quality software products on time and within budget
Develop and maintain testing processes, standards, and procedures that adhere to industry best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Implement automated testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and reduce the time-to-market of software products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle and that product requirements are clear, testable, and achievable
