Job Description
Location: London – Hybrid working: 2-3 days in the office and the remainder remote (No set days)
Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 base + bonus

At the heart of it lies an exciting opportunity for a brand new Head of QA to join the team. This role isn't just about managing quality assurance; it's about leading the charge in reshaping the very fabric of our client’s technological landscape.

A taste of what you will be doing:
responsibility for the QA budget and partner performance, ensuring the selection of appropriate Test as a Service partners to deliver value and quality services.
execute, and enhance a technology-supported QA strategy.
and execute KPI-driven quality goals aligned with strategic and business objectives.
the adoption of contemporary shift-left testing methodologies, integrating test automation and team-based testing for streamlined CI/CD processes, transitioning from manual testing and release to automated practices.
What you need:
leadership experience in engineering or Quality engineering roles, ideally within a dynamic, technology-focused environment.
a pivotal role in past digital transformation or strategic insourcing initiatives.
leadership in roles such as Test Manager or Team Lead, with a successful track record of managing software testing teams.
expertise in Testing & Quality Assurance, showcasing both breadth and depth of knowledge.
in establishing and managing Test & Assurance functions, balancing third-party resources with internal expertise.
in modern Engineering deployment methods within Product and Platform squads.
in Agile and Waterfall environments.
proficiency in core Tech and testing tools such as cloud services, test automation, and implementing shift-left testing methodologies.
