Head of Projects
up to circa £87,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Package

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced Senior Projects professional, to join this global leader in the FM & Real Estate market.
This is a strategic role in which you will own and deliver your Business Unit’s project plan, with overall responsibility for delivering forecast revenue on time and within the margins specified by the business.
Ideally you will have the technical qualifications and knowledge and background to be able to truly become a trusted adviser to your clients. You will back this up with demonstrable experience of delivering Project Management within M&E, FM, construction, or critical environments, and ideally hold Project Management qualifications.
Role & Responsibilities
Full P & L responsibility for Business Unit
Ensuring safe delivery of projects through the management of risk and competence
Recruiting and retaining talent for the present delivery and future growth of projects.
Providing leadership in identifying and specifying project opportunities.
Delivering contractual commitments on secured projects.
Ensuring projects are delivered on all maintenance contracts.
Identifying, reducing and managing all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with each and every project.
Maximising profit through cost reductions and better buying of subcontractor services.
Planning and developing long term opportunities by creating a pipeline of opportunities.
Developing and managing all bids, tenders and proposals.
Generating and securing new sales to exceed the annual financial plan.
Seeking out opportunities to generate projects through innovation and different technologies.
Leading the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings.
Managing Business unit forecast
Negotiating contractual obligations and disputes upstream and downstream
Candidate Profile
Excellent motivational and influencing skills, with high levels of personal integrity
Practical experience of CDM regulations
SMSTS certified
Nebosh certified
CSCS card holder
Recognised technical qualification in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical or similar
Degree level qualification in Project Management
Degree level qualification within project management, construction management or equivalent
APM certified
Prince 2 certified

Salary of up to circa £87000 plus car allowance, bonus, individual private medical care, 25 days holiday + BH.
