Job Description
Discover International has partnered with a global business, developing automation solutions for complex applications in the life science industry.
The position is an exciting combo of project management and continuous improvement management within a growing business.
PMO Responsibilities:
Act as PMO representative and PMO Process Owner
Drive a sense of urgency and accountability relative to project performance and key milestones
Guide employees in developing new or revising existing standard operating procedures
Project execution map and associated stage deliverables
PM workbook (Risks, Issues, Change Management, lessons learned, financial summary, etc)
Root cause and corrective action relating to degradation
CI Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and execute Continuous Improvement activities
Provide insights and recommendations for the annual strategic planning process
Be involved in the prioritization of CI initiatives
Coach the organization towards best-in-class use of the tool
Required/Desirable skills:
A minimum of 5 years experience deploying Lean Six Sigma, including experience in both direct and indirect (transactional) processes
Must have experience with custom-engineered solution businesses, ideally Automation Machinery Manufacturing
PMI certified
Six Sigma Green Belt and/or SME Silver Lean certification required; Black Belt certification highly desirable
Willing and able to travel frequently to company locations in the UK, infrequent travel to North America and Europe
