Job Title: Head of Production Engineering Location: Andover, Hampshire Compensation: £80,000 - £90,000 + Car AllowanceRole Type: Full time / Permanent Role ID: SF56812At Babcock we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as our Head of Production Engineering at our Andover site.The RoleAs the Head of Production Engineering you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for guiding our production facilities through a significant period of change.Day-to-day, you'll lead on the strategy to design, planning and deployment of automated manufacturing capabilities.Lead in the transformation to an industry 4.0 operating environmentLead and direct the engineering platform support teams across sitesDevelop and manage the supply chain requirementsProvide technical and engineering support to the operations teamMake recommendations for facility capital expenditures in support of wider strategyThis position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangementsExperience required of the Head of Production EngineeringStrong background in production engineeringExperience of introducing advanced manufacturing / automation systemsExperience of leading multi-discipline teamsHave lead business through change / transformationQualifications for the Head of Production EngineeringDegree qualified in relevant engineering subjectChartered engineer status or working towardsSecurity ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
