Elevation Recruitment are looking for a Head of Product & Range for a leading consumer goods supplier in West Yorkshire 

Working for a fantastic brand that offer innovation, creativity, hybrid working and a great culture to be a part of. The Head of Product & Range will be responsible for managing a large key customer, working hand in hand to deliver a fantastic product range for their customers. You will lead a small team and bring to life products to ensure successful delivery to market. Main responsibilities will include:


  • Define and deliver an insight led, market leading consumer proposition
  • Define and develop of the product strategy including VFM (value for money)
  • A market leading new product development portfolio from strategic direction through to customer basket
  • Range strategy including architecture, price mix and fixture/display layout
  • Leading the execution of range builds and commercialisation of range
  • Owning trading activity to maximise opportunity. Working with Marketing on all elements of the relevant marketing mix
  • Customer relationship management in conjunction with the Head of Creative & Account lead to bring to life the creative and product vision

We're looking for a product expert and people leader with the vision and expertise to continue to evolve the customers product proposition and delight their shoppers.


  • Extensive knowledge and experience within a product development discipline ideally in a supplier capacity
  • Knowledge of strategy development and experience of delivering objectives through others
  • Experience of creative and/or product pitching, with effortless storytelling ability bringing to life the vision and creating buy in/excitement for your plan
  • A working knowledge of shopper insights and experience practical application to inform decision making
  • Solid Product Development knowledge and experience, within a consumer goods business, ideally creative led
  • Experience of managing large product portfolios with seasonal variances, ideally within an FMCG environment, would be a significant advantage
  • Excellent relationship management skills, seen as a collaborative and inspiring leader of people, with a natural flair for influencing, negotiating and finding effective solutions
