This is where you could make the difference.The Role-As the Head of Product Marketing (& Merchandising) you will lead product and range strategy. Leading your product team, aligned to the customer’s strategy, you establish an exciting creative vision across the retail space.Your main responsibilities will include:Devise a market leading consumer proposition.Develop the Total Product Strategy.Lead a new product development portfolio from strategic direction through to shopper basket.Establish total market strategy including architecture, price mix and fixture/display layout.Lead the execution of range builds and maximize the ROI of total range including.Deploy the comms strategy drawing on all elements of the relevant marketing mix.Engage with supply partners in building long-term agreements.Lead global alignment across the the UK range, leveraging expertise to maximizing efficiencies of the portfolioLead and Coach of Product & Merchandising teamCandidate Requirements-The ideal candidate will have gained strong experience in Product Marketing and
Merchandising/Range
Management. Whilst this would ideally be from a leading supply side Consumer Products business, the client is also open to consider candidates from a Retail side background.The category in which the role operates brings both challenges of leading NPD and Merchandising initiatives and requires a real “added value” environment where strength of character is key.
