JOB TITLE: Head of Product ManagementLOCATIONS: London, BristolHOURS: Full timeWORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our hub locations.About this opportunityPersonalised Experiences and Communications (PEC) platform sits within the Consumer Relationships BU and plays a substantial role in supporting the achievement of the Group Personalisation strategy to be more relevant for customers. An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen to join the team as the Head of Product Management right at the pivotal time during our Platform transformation. With the customer at the heart and transformative influence, you’ll collaborate across the business to ensure alignment of our platform product vision to the objectives of group wide stakeholders. In this role, you’ll:Define and guide platform level product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment to, and embedding of the group wide personalisation & communications strategy.Stay up to date with market changes and competitors’ insights alongside internal analytics, equipping the product owners to effectively develop individual, aligned product strategies & roadmaps. You'll be accountable for the continuous evolution and management of the platform objectives and key results.Act as a trusted advisor to the business units, representing the PEC Platform and promote the strategy, services, and capabilities being developed within it. Build positive relationships across the Group identifying problems and requirements to influence strategic decisions to drive outcomes supporting customer and business outcomes.Have a strong grasp of financials and strategic focus that will help develop and deliver the right level of continued investment and prioritisation.Consistently review prioritisation of our platform product development roadmaps aligned to platform level goals and objectives.Establish and lead cross divisional sessions & governance aimed at maximising collaboration, delivery, and awareness of progress against the personalisation & platform strategies. Taking control of distribution of impactful communications keeping a variety of audiences updated with key updates on delivery and progress.About you:Product development experience – defining a product vision & roadmap with accountability for its delivery in collaboration with the product delivery teams. Robust understanding of the tech landscape and capabilities, the personalisation strategy, and the business imperatives.Experience of adding new value within business and technical environments; applying your knowledge of the business and the marketplace to advance the organisation's objectives.Able to combine a strategic, product mentality with the ability to see opportunities and develop comprehensive delivery plans, driving actions to coordinate and align to strategic goals.Use your expertise to act as the organisational authority on leading projects and/or programmes within desired cost, time, and quality parameters.Extensive track record of building strong senior level relationships and providing constructive support and challenge to directors.Able to think strategically and have a natural curiosity for external and internal factors that could influence our strategy.
