We are on the lookout for our next Head of Performance Marketing to help deliver tangible results for a range of exciting and nationally-known clients as part of our Digital Marketing team.We are a leading digital agency in the UK and, as such, we deal with prestigious clients from all sectors. As our company grows and our client base expands, we are looking for new members to join our experienced and dynamic team.Based in the heart of Manchester, CTI is now one of the largest digital transformation agencies outside of London with 220 Digital professionals working for us. Not only will you have exposure to some exciting technologies but you’ll also get to know our various teams and departments.What will my day look like?The Head of Performance Marketing will play a pivotal role in steering the strategic direction and execution of our company's performance marketing efforts, encompassing Paid Media, Paid Social, and SEO. This individual will be responsible for driving growth and efficiency for our clients
across all digital advertising channels. By leveraging data-informed insights, the Head of Performance Marketing will lead our team of performance marketing experts - ensuring we are offering strategic advice and direction, optimising campaigns, innovating our approach to digital advertising, and achieving excellent ROI for our clients. This leadership role requires a unique blend of analytical know-how, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of digital marketing ecosystems. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive performance marketing and SEO strategies for our clients that align with their growth objectives. Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of campaigns, ensuring all work meets client needs, expectations, business goals, campaign objectives and budgets Data Analysis and Optimisation: Utilise advanced analytics to monitor and assess campaign performance, and test and refine strategies to improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness. Report and present campaign performance, identify areas for improvement and proactively recommend data-driven changes to enhance campaign and service effectiveness Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of marketing professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure team members are up-to-date with the latest digital marketing tools, trends, and best practices. Team Utilisation: Proactively work with the Director of Growth to ensure your team is not under or over-utilised and the performance marketing team is working well with the wider agency Client Relationships: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with clients, addressing client concerns and showcasing a proactive approach to problem-solving which instils faith in the agency and builds trust
New Business: Act as the subject matter expert for performance marketing aspects of pitches, proposals and tenders and work with the commercial team to ensure high-quality outputs. Innovation and Industry Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in performance marketing. Champion innovative strategies and tools that keep the company at the forefront of digital marketing, acting as a performance marketing thought leader for the agency’s marketing and at events Key skills & Qaulties Proven experience in a performance marketing leadership role, with a strong background in Paid Media, Paid Social, and SEO. Deep knowledge of digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Advertising), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush), and SEO best practices. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing talent. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience in managing client and stakeholder relationships. Creative and strategic thinker, with a passion for delivering measurable results. Location:Our head office is in Manchester city centre (Ancoats) - we adopt a hybrid working model (2 days in the office per week)Salary:Dependent on ExperienceWhy CTI Digital?
