Head of People

I am proud to be partnering with this major retailer who are seeking a Head of People to join their team on a 6 month FTC.Central London location - Hybrid - 2 day in officeSalary - £120k plus pension and bonusAre you a proactive strategic leader with established relationships and a track record of driving impactful change? I am seeking a visionary HR professional who thrives in complex organisational landscapes, who is adept at collaborating with Centers of Excellence and leveraging stakeholder relationships to achieve strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities:Leading Change: Drive cultural and behavioral change initiatives, utilising data and business insight to measure success. Adapt quickly and innovate to address evolving organisational needs.Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate a deep understanding of how the business generates revenue and utilise people levers to drive commercial impact. Ensure decisions align with customer value and stay ahead of market trends.Collaboration & Influence: Navigate matrix working environments, fostering connections with diverse teams and leveraging their expertise. Embrace agility and adaptability, employing various leadership styles to effectively influence stakeholders.Requirements:Proven experience leading change initiatives, both structural and cultural.Strong commercial mindset, capable of leveraging HR strategies to drive business success.Exceptional collaboration and influence skills, adept at navigating complex organisational structures.Agile mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and quick to adapt to changing environments.Demonstrated ability to utilise data and business insight to inform decision-making.History of success in HR leadership roles, with potential for directorship within two years.To be successful in this role I am looking for someone with a strong background in retail or FMCG - that has previously worked on a FTC or interim basis.
