Head of People

Nuada is a vibrant Cleantech business that has developed an exciting next-generation carbon capture system.As we enter an exciting growth phase, we are looking for a Head of People to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our company culture, developing our talent, and ensuring the success of our mission to tackle the climate emergency.Responsibilities Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's objectives. Manage and oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Lead and develop a high-performing HR team. Partner with leaders to identify and address talent development and succession planning needs. Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Develop and deliver effective training programs. Manage and enhance the employee benefits and compensation programs. Handle employee relations issues and provide coaching to managers and employees. Requirements At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on leadership and people development. Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations. Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies to support business objectives. Proven track record in talent acquisition and retention. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience in the cleantech industry or a strong passion for sustainability is a plus.
