Job Description
Reporting to the Director of People, the Head of People Services is responsible for the delivery of a quality and customer focussed HR service to MSF UK. The post holder leads on all operational aspects of the HR team (with the exception of employee relations), including all HR processes, administration, systems, data and reporting.
Key duties are as follows:
Build, motivate and develop a HR services team that is structurally fit for purpose with the right roles, responsibilities, and ways of working in place that provides a seamless and customer focussed HR service.
Encourage and develop the HR team’s interaction and collaboration across MSF UK to support high standards of HR service delivery and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement efficient, customer focussed recruitment, onboarding and induction processes for MSF UK office and hosted contracts.
Oversee the development and implementation of effective HR systems, ensuring that the HR team and staff are trained and using systems to their full potential.
Lead the production of HR reporting statistics: analysing information and producing draft reports to the Co Dir, Remuneration Committee and Board. Ensure that the information provided enables managers and the Board to make better decisions.
Ensure the efficient provision of pay and benefits administration to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with legislation and lead the implementation of annual pay review.
Ensure that external relationships and contracts are in place that support the effective running the HR function.
Ensure effective data security, DPA and FOI systems are in place and are monitored.
Provide a skeleton service for non-employees e.g. contractors, secondments etc.
