Position: Head of Operations
Location: Manchester (initial), expanding to London/New York in 12 months.

Role Overview:As Head of Operations at HOME, you embody the spirit of leadership and innovation. This role is crafted for the strategic thinker who excels in dynamic environments, a leader who is as comfortable mapping out long-term strategies as they are in driving day-to-day operational excellence. Your mission is to build and lead the operations of HOME, laying the foundation for our expansion and ensuring operational systems are scalable, efficient, and capable of supporting our vision of redefining urban living.
Responsibilities:
Lead the creation and implementation of strategic operational systems, processes, and policies to support HOME’s growth and ensure scalability.
Oversee and manage daily operations of the company.
Direct the overall operational strategy, aligning with HOME’s vision and working closely with the CEO and other executives to refine and execute our expansion plans.
Foster a culture of leadership, innovation, and operational excellence, building and mentoring a team that is passionate about transforming urban living.
Oversee the seamless integration of services such as Laundry & Dry Cleaning, Minibar, Butler, and Housekeeping, ensuring they meet the high standards our residents expect.
Champion continuous improvement, leveraging technology, and innovative practices to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Prepare for and manage the complexities of international expansion, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities in new markets.
Ensure operational agility, responding effectively to challenges and opportunities in a fast-paced, evolving landscape.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a senior operational role, with a track record of strategic planning and execution in a high-growth environment.
Strong leadership qualities, with experience in building, leading, and motivating teams.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
A deep understanding of operational best practices, and the ability to implement these in a way that is tailored to HOME’s unique mission.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating vision and strategy, while also fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Adaptability and resilience, with a readiness to tackle the challenges of scaling a business in diverse markets.
Ability to work well under pressure.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary (£40,000 - £70,000, depending on experience) plus significant equity participation, reflecting the critical role you will play in our success.
