The Company..
Not just another face in the spirits industry – they are on a mission to shake things up with their exceptional whisky and rum, and they are looking for a Head of Operations to continue their growth.
The Role..
As the Head of Operations, you'll be at the heart of the action, making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine when it comes to bottling and managing their award winning spirits.
Bringing together logistics, purchasing, and production.
You'll also be the sustainability superhero, leading the charge on sustainable packaging and practices that not only make their drinks taste great but also make a positive impact on the planet.
With your seasoned experience in the spirits industry, you'll be the guiding light for the team:
Craft a production plan, based on forecasts from our Commercial Director.
Keep shelves stocked and costs down by managing the purchase of dry goods
Keep a watchful eye on core product inventory levels, making sure they never dip below the set par levels. You'll be the guardian of stock.
Keep key stakeholders in the loop about any increases in the cost of goods. Communication is key, and you'll be the bridge between the team and suppliers.
Continuously review and improve departmental spend. Streamlining processes and cutting costs without sacrificing quality.
Forge strong relationships with dry goods suppliers, working hand-in-hand to improve product quality, packaging sustainability, and reliability.
Measuring Supplier performance through KPIs like defect rates, on-time delivery, and customer service.
Be the guardian of data integrity, ensuring the Tropos ERP production runs like a well-oiled machine. From inventory purchases to bottling operations, you'll make sure everything is running smoothly and efficiently.
Embrace the future by supporting the upgrade and enhancement of the Tropos ERP system and other software add-ons.
Lead the Operations Team with confidence and clarity, setting clear performance objectives and providing regular feedback.

With at least 5 years in the spirits/drinks industry, with a genuine love of spirits
