The Head of Operations is a crucial role for Hilldale Housing Association. As a key member of the senior leadership team this extensive and varied position will present you with the opportunity to transform the business, facilitating further growth and investment in Tenants homes and services.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will operate as a key figurehead, providing strategic leadership and direction on all matters relating to the key operational areas of the business. As a member of the senior leadership, you will inspire the teams to deliver solutions that really change lives for the better.

Adept in knowledge of housing technical and legislative requirements, you will further develop Hilldale's approach to meeting regulatory requirements and managing performance data.

Principle duties include:

• Deputising for the Managing Director and other members of the Leadership team as required
• Attending Board meetings and providing performance information
• Contributing to Hilldale's future by driving forward and achieving our business strategic objectives
• Lead the provision of evidence for compliance against the Consumer and Rent Standards
• Leading on data and information which the business requires to meet its operational, governance and regulatory requirements
• Lead on the delivery plans for the operational risk register, value for money and equality, diversity, and inclusion strategies.
• Working across the wider group with colleagues on large, identified projects but also on day-to-day operational matters as and when required to
• Leading on funder and care provider relationships by monitoring the delivery of contractual obligations and providing information returns

Hilldale Housing Association is a small organisation that grew up in the Northwest region but now has a national reach. We provide and manage high quality homes for people who need additional support. Hilldale forms are part of the Change Housing Group that aims to support and develop smaller organisations by improving and growing their businesses and housing solutions to enable more people to live independently.

In the last 3 years at Hilldale has navigated through significant change, building a firm foundation for the future. The focus now is to use that platform to develop a more efficient and high-quality service by developing people but also by listening and responding to the needs of Tenants.
