My client is a market leader in their specialist field with a global client base. Due to exciting expansion plans, they are looking for a Head of Operations with energy and ambition to help lead them through this next phase.



It’s vital that the Head of Operations has proven experience in suggesting and implementing business improvements, with experience in a management role and an interest (or experience) in motor vehicle engines a must!



Head of Operations – More Info:



The head of Operations will take responsibility for the resourcing and development of the wider ops team. They will work closely with the (new) Head of Marketing to drive sustainable, organic growth while maintaining a healthy gross profit margin.



We are looking for someone who can drive improvements across all areas of the company's supply chain, improving accuracy and speed of delivery, while reducing wastage and costs, through better processes and automation. 



The company is keen to expand its well-established global network of customers through improving its international supply chain. In particular dealing with the impact of Brexit for EU customers.

Must Haves;




  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in management role

  • Enthusiasm and energy in abundance

  • A genuine passion for / experience in motor vehicle engines

  • Embraces values of trust, care and selflessness

  • Proven experience in suggesting and implementing business improvements

  • Finance and accounting: working knowledge of budgeting cash forecasting and balance sheet

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Works well under pressure and embraces change

  • Organised and methodical with the ability to manage workload and priorities

  • A leader: someone who inspires others towards our shared vision
