Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance.


• Develop and implement strategies to enhance sustainability and reduce environmental impact across manufacturing processes, waste management, energy consumption, and resource utilisation.


• Lead cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, procurement, and engineering teams to optimise sustainable sourcing practices, supplier partnerships, and product innovation.


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and reduce waste, while maintaining high-quality standards.


• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress in sustainability goals and operational performance and identify areas for improvement.


• Foster a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility among manufacturing team members, promoting awareness and engagement in sustainable practices.


• Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability, and integrate new technologies and methodologies to drive ongoing improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Environmental Science, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.


• Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role within the food manufacturing industry, with a focus on sustainability and environmental management.


• Strong understanding of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and best practices in sustainable manufacturing.


• Demonstrated track record of implementing sustainable initiatives and driving operational excellence in a manufacturing environment.
