This is an exciting opportunity to join the Senior Nursing team in DAS Division. DAS Division covers services in a variety of surgical specialties Head and Neck, Trauma and Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Breast, Urology, Theatres, Day Surgery, Audiology, Vascular, Pain services, Resuscitation. As Head of Nursing, you will be responsible for the clinical leadership and governance of a specified area within the Division and lead on the day-to-day operational leadership and patient flow challenges. You will also be key in the delivery of Divisional and Organisation strategies. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with demonstrable compassionate, innovative, and supportive leadership skills to empower their clinical teams to deliver excellent patient care and service developments. You will be supported to develop your leadership skills as a senior leader in the organisation. There is an expectation with this role to participate in the Senior Manager on call rota and cross site working.Main duties of the jobBe an inspiring, compassionate clinical leader ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice and clinical care is delivered to patients.
