Education Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head of MFL to lead our department in an outstanding school located in Nottinghamshire, East Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the vibrant language learning environment of our school.

General duties of the Head of MFL will be:

• Leading and managing the MFL:department, including curriculum development, staff management, and student progress monitoring.


• Developing and implementing engaging and innovative language programs that promote fluency and cultural understanding.


• Providing leadership and support to department staff, including mentoring and professional development opportunities.


• Monitoring student progress and attainment in language acquisition, implementing interventions to support and challenge students as needed.


• Collaborating with senior leadership to contribute to the overall strategic direction and development of the school.

To qualify for this role, candidates must have extensive experience teaching Spanish and/or French and hold relevant leadership qualifications or experience. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about language education, with a track record of excellence in teaching and leadership.
