Come and help in making access to medication quicker and easier than ever before in human history!About the role:Throughestablishing in-house trials and implementing a streamlined process for continuous innovation in prescription-based NPD at HeliosX, this role will leverage the successful candidate’s experiences in clinical research, pharmacology, and drug development to drive the creation of new products and enhance existing offerings.What you'll be doing:Develop and implement a process for conducting in-house clinical trials to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and usability of pharmaceutical-based healthcare solutions.Analyse trial data, interpret findings, and generate insights to inform product development decisions and refine strategies for continuous improvement.Work with the company clinical librarian to appraise comprehensive literature reviews, evidence assessments, and market analyses to identify emerging trends, therapeutic opportunities, and competitive landscapes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design trial protocols, recruit participants, and oversee trial execution, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.Facilitate new product brainstorming sessions, engaging stakeholders to generate novel ideas and concepts for pharmaceutical-based healthcare solutions.Lead efforts to establish a culture of continuous innovation within the organisation, fostering creativity, collaboration, and experimentation in prescription-based NPD.Serve as a key liaison with advisory boards, academic institutions, and pharmaceutical partners to gather insights, solicit feedback, and establish collaborative research partnerships.Establish and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations (CROs), and regulatory authorities to support licensing, collaboration, and market access initiatives.What you'll bring to HeliosX:Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with full GMC registration and licence to practise in the UK.3-5 years post CCT practice experienceProven track record of leading and coordinating pharmaceutical product development projects, with specific experience in establishing in-house clinical trials and fostering a culture of continuous innovation.Strong understanding of clinical trial methodologies, pharmacology, drug development processes, and regulatory frameworks governing pharmaceutical products.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and deliver results within established timelines and budgetary constraints.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Analytical mindset with the ability to critically evaluate scientific literature, interpret clinical data, and make evidence-based decisions.Why work with us?At HeliosX, we want to improve healthcare for everyone, and to do this we need a team of brilliant people who share that ambition.
