Job DescriptionThe idea of Immersify Education was conceived 5 years ago to address the problem that educational resources are outdated, expensive and discourage the engagement of students.Our solution bridges the gap between theoretical and practical learning by utilising augmented reality and interactive animation, 3D modelling, gamification and personalisation.The benefit of this over traditional materials is that it facilitates students with different learning styles, the content can be personalised and gamified and the concise information is more suited to the present generation of learner.Position – Head of MarketingImmersify Education is quickly scaling and innovating in the EdTech space, growing a variety of customer segments and creating opportunities to scale.In line with this, Immersify Education is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Head of Marketing to lead our global marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully developing and executing marketing strategies for international markets, particularly in the EdTech sector, with preference for candidates with a background in higher education and knowledge of the US market. As the Head of Marketing at Immersify, you will play a crucial role in driving brand initiatives and revenue growth. We are looking for a results-driven marketing leader with a passion for transforming education through technology.Responsibilities•Develop and execute marketing strategies and support business objectives in response to market trends.•Set goals, manage budgets, and use a variety of different channels to increase brand awareness, attract leads, and boost sales.•Localise marketing campaigns to different countries to make sure they fit with local cultures and laws.•Understanding different customer behaviours, customising content, and changing strategies to better engage with international markets.•Build on the foundations of a well-known name in the EdTech field, growing and maintaining the brand. create a strong brand story, improve online presence, and clearly communicate what makes the brand special.•Manage and take responsibility for industry events and webinars to build trust and establish the brand as a leader.•Manage all marketing activities, such as: online marketing, social media, email campaigns, search engine optimisation, and public relations, to ensure they work together smoothly and effectively reach target audiences.•Identify and establish strategic partnerships with companies, content creators, and other organisations that can help reach more people, improve the product, and help achieve business objectives goals.•Lead the marketing team, encouraging a culture where innovation and teamwork are valued. Guide the team, set clear performance expectations, and support their professional growth and report to the wider leadership and executive teams.Requirements•Proven experience and success in a marketing leadership position.•Degree in marketing or business.•Demonstrated success in developing and implementing international marketing strategies.•Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decision making.•Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and technologies.•Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.•Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.•Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.•Comfortable using varies software's for various tasks.Desirable experience•A Master’s / Postgraduate degree•Experience leading marketing initiatives in the EdTech industry•Strong proven record of success in higher educationBenefits:•Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 - £65,000 depending on experience, with high end of the range reserved for the right candidate.•Hybrid working, with Monday and Friday from home, and Tuesday – Thursday in our Manchester-based office.
