UK Petcare Sales & Marketing Manager
Hybrid role – 2 / 3 days a month in Reigate office

They are now looking for a UK Petcare Sales & Marketing Manager due to the retirement of the current manager. Reporting into the MD, the UK Petcare Sales & Marketing Manager will work with the International Petcare Marketing team and the Business Unit to develop the strategy/concept that will generate growth in Petcare sales of branded and private label products within the UK and Ireland.
The role also incorporates commercial management of the SAFE animal research diets, bedding and enrichment business.

Regularly monitoring customer order flow and addressing issues in real time
Leveraging Cats Best analytical tools, and working with customer personnel to manage financial results of customers, and improve the profitability of sales. Exceeding annual promotional efficiency targets whilst adhering to trade spend policies by:
Regularly analysing the performance of promotional activities, and practising continuous improvements through the application of insights and trends.
Regularly reviewing Cats Best, and competition point of sale, syndicated and other data to assess trends, and identify opportunities.
Conducting regular in person, telephone and email contact with customer purchase decision and merchandising personnel regarding Cats Best business and initiatives.
Establishing productive and collaborative internal relationships with the International Petcare Marketing, Business Unit, and JRS customer service teams.
Working with other members of the JRS sales team, and sales management to identify and share best practices, and winning tactics.
Accurately forecasting future customer growth, and product sales.
Internal : -
MD, International PetCare Marketing team, JRS customer service teams
Study of economics with focus Marketing/Sales
At least 5 years’ experience in Trade Marketing or Sales as a Key account Manager
Optimal: experiences in Pet Care category but that is not a must.
