The Opportunity
The Head of Regional Marketing EMEA role is a critical role that is responsible for all regional marketing activities across EMEA with an objective to increase brand awareness of Gentrack, generate demand to its solutions and contribute to the pipeline. The position will strategically plan what activities to run, and then deliver and execute high impact programs - managing marketing manager(s) and agencies - and working in close cooperation with Gentrack executives, sales directors, product management and other marketing functions.
This position manages all activities around 3rd party events, Gentrack roadshows, webinars, media placement, digital and social campaigns.
Target audience would be prospects in EMEA and as a second priority, exiting customers in this region.
The Specifics
Develop and implement a fully integrated regional marketing and communications strategy including a multi-channel approach (i.e. digital, content, media) for EMEA that directly supports the overall strategic and growth objectives of the business.
Conduct research and analysis of targeted markets and prospects to provide insights that will enable our go to market strategy.
Partner with the General Manager for Europe and VP of Global Partnerships, Head of European Sales to determine effective and profitable marketing campaigns for existing and new customers.
Partner with the Regional PX Leader on internal regional engagement initiatives
Develop promotional/paid and other marketing/advertising campaigns in owned and sponsored media. Work with agencies/marketing resources to implement the campaign to measure and optimise success.
Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities to achieve the regional marketing strategy. Leverage change management methodologies
Leverage change management methodologies, process and tools to create a strategy to support the adoption of changes required.
Develop and execute an events plan for the year - taking into account digital and physical presence across 3rd party and 1st party to get the best ROI.
Drive the design, development, delivery and management of the communications strategy for customers across EMEA.
Leadership of the market engagement programme to achieve objectives aligned with the global strategic plan for customer success and continued market growth.
What we're looking for (you don't need to be a guru at all, we're looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you):
Knowledge and experience working in the utilities industry - preferably for a SW/Solution vendor.
Proven experience in a similar role - running brand awareness and demand generation activities.
Possess a strong ability to inspire, advise and influence business leaders within the company to ensure success with the various campaigns and initiatives that the marketing team engages on.
Strong senior management level experience to directly lead and manage people, set goals, and drive and achieve successful outcomes.
Strong practical experience in marketing and communications tools, techniques, and work environments.
Proven experience in leading change management activities that underpin a marketing strategy.
