Head of Legal - Insurance Company

My client is an international insurer who is seeking a UK Head of Legal.
You will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of legal matters for the business
Your responsibilities will include:
Being a strategic partner and leader to the business on all legal matters
Providing Legal advice and drafting support to a range of Commercial Contracts
Advise the business on Insurance Law and Regulation
Support on Corporate Governance and Company Secretarial matters
Management of junior team members
Providing commercial legal advice for stakeholders involved in key projects for the organisation
Your skills and abilities should include:
Qualified solicitor - UK and Ireland
It is essential that you will possess extensive experience in the insurance market. Candidates without experience in the sector will not be considered.
You will either be a Senior Counsel looking to step into your first Head of Legal role, or an existing Legal leader
You will have experience across Commercial, Corporate and Insurance Law
You will be an exceptional communicator, collaborator and influencer.
