ISP Head of Lab Schools Role ProfilePurpose of RoleOur ISP LabSchools initiative transforms 11 selected schools worldwide into dynamic hubs for experimentation and learning. These schools, strategically located across different regions, serve as testing grounds for innovative EdTech solutions, focusing on various learning pillars. Through meticulous prototyping and educator training, we refine and adapt these solutions in real classroom settings, ultimately enhancing the learning experience for our students through improved academic achievement, engagement, and personalised learning. The purpose of this role is to lead the further development, delivery and implementation of the ISP LabSchool Programme.ISP PrinciplesBegin with our children and students. We positively engage with personal and professional development and school improvement.ISP Head of Lab Schools Key ResponsibilitiesLead the further development, execution and delivery of the LabSchool programme leading from the piloting of solutions to the adoption and roll out of proven applications and training for teachers across the group.Contribute LabSchool updates to the EdTech Steering Committee and feed into updates on strategic initiatives to Executive. Manage team members leading work in EdTech and the work of the EdTech SLT leads in LabSchools.Foster relationships with ISP LabSchools and senior leadership teams in schools for trials and adoption of EdTech initiatives.Contribute to organisational policies on EdTech and AI.Evaluate the impact of EdTech initiatives and adjust implementation strategies as needed.Serve as the primary liaison between technical and educational teams for EdTech integration.Stay updated on EdTech and AI advancements, industry trends and competitor analysis and assess their applicability to the organizations needs.Skills, Qualifications and ExperienceExperience in EdTech, focusing on project implementation and partnership with development teams.Leadership skills for managing diverse teams and complex technical and change projects.Understanding of the application of AI in educational contexts, including knowledge of current trends, pedagogical implications, and the ability to bridge the gap between technology and educational outcomes.Proven ability to lead digital product development activities, including overseeing the design, development, and deployment of educational technology tools and platforms. This involves coordinating with technical teams, understanding user needs, and ensuring products meet educational objectives.Strong communication skills for internal and external collaboration.Strategic problem-solving skills.Adaptability in a dynamic and evolving technology landscape.Degree in Education Technology, Digital product development, or a related field.Additional qualifications in project management or AI highly regarded.ISP Leadership CompetenciesYou consistently demonstrate and role-model the ISP Leadership Competencies in all that you do.
