THE SKILLS: We are looking for a motivated 'hands-on' Head of IT with experience in Audit and Compliance-related process design, data storage and security management including server management, coupled with experience with Windows 10, Windows Servers and Microsoft Azure. If you have worked with ERP System Administration, preferably EPICOR 10 and if you have knowledge of SQL databases and data management for reporting, with a good understanding of core business processes, such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Record to Report, you are likely to receive an immediate interview request. Motivated, proactive, and customer-oriented IT Leaders, with a focus on the development of systems, processes and management information to enable IT to contribute to the company’s growth will be sought after. THE REPORTING LINE: As Head of IT, you will report to the Finance Director. THE PRE-REQUISITES: Providing integrated, reliable IT systemsand services internally and through 3rd party service providers that meet required service levels; within budget, is vital. Ensuring that the smooth running and development of the business, whilst managing a migration from on-premise hosted infrastructure to a Microsoft Azure environment, that will enhance the long term operational and strategic goals is a key part of your remit in this role. Using technologies to reduce risk to the business whilst ensuring audit compliance and the implementation and the processes of maintaining compliance and security, all whilst managing a multi-disciplined global team in the US and UK will be part of your activity. The implementation of an ERP to new areas of the business to further develop a new IT Strategy in line with the overall business goals and objectives, including an Azure Migration is also an important and exciting part of this role. If you can implement and manage KPI’s and metrics, and if you can standardise hardware platforms and software acquisitions across the business and approve all business IT expenditure, whilst maintaining the uptime and performance, then this job opportunity should be a good fit for you. THE RESPONSIBILITIES: By ensuring that data sharing and remote access is secure within the organisation and that there is an adequate IT disaster recovery plan, and that the IT team maintain infrastructure and network performance within defined SLA parameters, you will become the 'go to' person for IT strategy & project implementation. Managing, leading and developing all IT staff in line with company policies and procedures will make up part of your remit, so too will maintaining and storing sensitive and confidential personal data in a secure manner in compliance with GDPR.
