Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: c£60K to £65K per annum. Plus generous benefits. These include:

48 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)

About the role
We are looking for someone to lead and develop our 16 strong IT Systems and Services team. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality IT and Reprographics support services for the entire College community.
As a member of our College Leadership Team (CLT), you will be an effective leader, and an experienced and talented IT professional with a passion for technology. With deep technical and ‘best practice’ knowledge, you will also possess strong organisation and time-management skills, and a pro-active, solution orientated approach. You will be resilient and resourceful, with a track record of quality delivery to challenging deadlines.
About the person
Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience, and ideally possess an industry standard IT related qualification or certification, you will have knowledge and experience of the further education and/or higher education sector.
You will have experience of successfully project managing IT related projects and initiatives, and experience of involvement with procurement processes. With proven ability in IT planning, organising and development, you will also have in depth knowledge of modern IT Systems and Services. Including knowledge of Directory Services, Virtualisation Technologies, Security Methodologies and administration, Cloud Services, Server and network infrastructure, as well as Microsoft 365 and Entra ID technologies.
Self motivated, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, you will be able to ‘horizon scan’, advising on developments which will be of benefit to the organisation and to learners. You will also be a good communicator, able to build successful working relationships at both operational and strategic levels.
