We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented individual to join us in the role of Head of International Recruitment.
The successful candidate will either have a proven track record of working in student recruitment/admissions or be a competent and successful salesperson/consultant who is looking for a new and exciting challenge within the private education sector.
Being personable, approachable, sociable, confident, articulate, friendly and inquisitive are all essential characteristics for this role, as are being flexible, resilient and having an eye for detail.
It is absolutely not essential to have worked in a school environment before; we genuinely welcome applicants from a wide variety of backgrounds who are ambitious and are keen to take on a role in which they can develop, challenge themselves and make valuable contributions to the School.
Working alongside the Principal of the International Schools, the successful candidate will have oversight of international recruitment & admissions activity across all sections of the School and will need to combine the qualities required for the effective logistical planning and management of recruitment & admissions data, and have the presence, confidence and personal touch required to be the face of the School when meeting prospective parents and educational agents.
The Head of International Recruitment will be required to work across international markets and travel within the UK and overseas for key recruitment events, demonstrating competent networking skills and an ability to develop strong relationships. Experience of the international market/international travel would be a significant strength for any applicant, as would prior management experience of staff.
This is an extremely competitive market for independent education therefore the Head of International Recruitment will be required to combine essential focus on day-to-day tasks with strategic thinking on how to recruit international pupils, and support transition through the key stages of the school and maintain our position as the pre-eminent school in this area.
