This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead internal communications for a large organization. The Head of Internal Communications will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that promote a positive company culture and drive genuine employee engagement.

Our client is a large B2B organization employing 1,500 colleagues nationally. With a head office in Yorkshire, they also have multiple sites across the UK.
Description
The responsibilities for the Head of Internal Communications will include:
Develop and implement an internal communications strategy aligned with company goals
Create engaging content for a variety of internal communication mediums
Coordinate with different departments to ensure consistency in messaging
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications
Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement
Manage crisis communications when necessary
Coordinate internal events to promote company culture
Oversee the internal communications budget
Management of 2 direct reports
Working closely with the marketing and brand team in developing the firms ESG strategy
Travelling to sites nationally when required for key events and initiatives
Profile
A successful ‘Head of Internal Communications’ should have:
A degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
8+ years experience in Internal Communications Management, ideally at a Head of Level.
Experience in managing a communications team
Ability to work with senior stakeholders, and manage relationships upwards.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
A proven track record in developing and implementing effective communication strategies
Experience in project management and event planning
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
Job Offer
A competitive salary range of £65,000 – £75,000
