About Our Client Our client is a large B2B organization employing 1,500 colleagues nationally. With a head office in Yorkshire, they also have multiple sites across the UK.
Job Description The responsibilities for the Head of Internal Communications will include:Develop and implement an internal communications strategy aligned with company goalsCreate engaging content for a variety of internal communication mediumsCoordinate with different departments to ensure consistency in messagingMonitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communicationsLead initiatives to improve employee engagementManage crisis communications when necessaryCoordinate internal events to promote company cultureOversee the internal communications budgetManagement of 2 direct reportsWorking closely with the marketing and brand team in developing the firms ESG strategyTravelling to sites nationally when required for key events and initiatives The Successful Applicant A successful 'Head of Internal Communications' should have:A degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field8+ years experience in Internal Communications Management, ideally at a Head of Level.Experience in managing a communications teamAbility to work with senior stakeholders, and manage relationships upwards.Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsA proven track record in developing and implementing effective communication strategiesExperience in project management and event planningStrong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team What's on OfferA competitive salary range of £65,000 - £75,000Hybrid working model to support work-life balance - minimum 2 days per week in officeOpportunity to lead on the internal comms strategy for a national business.
