As our Head of Insurance, you'll lead all insurance activities across the business, and ensure that the risks that we face are, where appropriate, covered by comprehensive insurance. In return, you'll have access to a wide range of benefits including:

What you'll be doing
Buying Insurance:
Determine and recommend to the Executive Directors a company-wide insurance strategy to protect our assets, minimise liabilities and address key insurable risks.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify sector and risk-specific insurance needs, evaluate policy options, and conclude terms with insurers with the support of a range of brokers.
Programme Management:
Effectively manage our insurance programme, including policy administration, claims handling and proactive risk mitigation strategies tailored to the unique challenges of the travel and aviation industries.
Liaise with insurance providers, brokers and lawyers (both internal and external) to ensure timely and accurate claims processing and resolution, and manage complex/high-value claims directly, at all times bearing in mind the protection of our reputation.
Advisory Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance and advice on insurance-related matters, and identify insurance-related areas of exposure.
Minimise risk through insurance placement or risk management objectives and offering improvement opportunities, developing fully costed plans and delivering these where approved by the Executive Directors.
What you'll have
We're looking for a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of insurance. You'll also have:
Insurance Leadership: Proven track record of success in senior insurance roles within complex organisations, with demonstrated expertise in both conventional and non-conventional insurance.
Strategic & Analytical Mindset: The ability to analyse data & identify trends coupled with addressing sector-specific challenges to develop innovative solutions to enhance our resilience.
Communication & Influence: The ability to communicate dynamically and effectively across all levels of our business including engaging with and presenting to executive boards.
Relevant Insurance qualifications would be desirable.
