If so, we have a fantastic opportunity that you won't want to miss.We're on the lookout for an exceptional Leader to head the Information Security Operations and drive a dynamic and growing team.HEAD OF INFORMATION SECURITY OPERATIONSContract - 6-9 monthsHybrid working – 2/3 days in office /weekLocation: ReadingWe are recruiting for a Head of Information Security Operations to ensure that theConfidentiality, integrity and availability of information systems are maintained to protectCustomer, corporate and 3rd party data. You will have responsibility for the management of theCERT function as well as responsibility for the management of the SEIM and SOCPartners.ResponsibilitiesCreation and maintenance of Information Security processes and procedures to supportbusiness policies and operations.Provide leadership and management of Information Security Operational teams toensure efficient and effective, proactive and reactive security monitoring and defenseacross information assets.Ensure regular KPIs are developed and maintained and identify areas for improvementand make recommendations accordingly.Be the lead in Cyber security incident response and ensure processes and proceduresand playbooks are efficient, effective and are tested regularly in line with policy.Develop and maintain a schedule of operational checks to ensure the confidentiality,integrity and availability of Client’s information assets is maintained and in-line withcompliance and regulation.Act as an escalation point for Information Security Incidents, changes and problems.Responsibility for IDAM management and control.Production of Risk Landscape documentation in conjunction with the InformationSecurity Risk functions and other colleagues.Technical ExperienceMinimum 5+ years commercial experience with the following technologies/systems:Check Point Firewall/NIDS/DLP/Anti-Virus/Identity Awareness/URL FilteringSIEM/SplunkEnterprise Desktop and Server Anti-Virus/Malware and endpoint protectiontechnologiesVulnerability Security Scanning e.g. NessusMicrosoft Windows Server family of products.Operational experience of PCI DSSCitrix XenApp, remote access productsLAN & WAN networking using Cisco routers, switches and infrastructure products.Good understanding of TCP/IPIdentity and access management systemsActive Directory, GPO ConfigurationCitrix /VMWareExperience of managing and developing a SIEM system, and feeding events into a SOC inorder to identify and alert on security incidentsUnderstanding of security issues and ability to allocate work to appropriate resources andUnderstanding of vulnerability management and defence against attacks in order to drivethe business in improvementUnderstanding of Identity and Access Management function and technology in order todrive improvement of the functionPlease apply via this ad in the first instance or send a CV with covering note or contact me on 07587743762 or ##### levelSeniority level Mid-Senior level Employment typeEmployment type Contract Job functionJob function Information Technology Industries Technology, Information and Media, Information Services, and Telecommunications Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Project People by 2xGet notified about new
