The work As Head of Industrial Biotechnology you will work within a driven, passionate team of biologists, engineers and commercial leaders operating in a well-equipped environment setup specifically to deliver world-class innovative breakthroughs for our clients. Vision, leadership and an ability to form our offerings to create high value programmes for our clients is essential. You will have significant contact with a range of stakeholders within the client organisations and you will be expected to use the knowledge gained to steer the development of our core technology to continue to meet client needs. This role has a strong external focus, and you will be expected to represent Cambridge Consultants at conferences, events and on client sites around the world. Specific responsibilities You will lead a rapidly growing team delivering exciting work globally.Key expectations for this role include:Taking responsibility for strategic planning and go-to-market activities to rapidly grow our businessDelivering significant sales growth in Biotechnology related projectsIdentifying opportunities for our proven engineering, fluidic, scientific and AI skills in biotechRepresenting our position as a leader in the Biotechnology sector, demonstrating vision, relevance and credibility to both our clients and internal teamsWorking as part of a dynamic team to engage with current and new clients to understand their challenges and develop solutions that create significant value from breakthrough innovation.Supporting Material Skills and Characteristics This is a senior leadership position and the successful applicant will likely have:A clear vision of the future of Biotech and the ability to sell this vision to decision makersDeep understanding of the science and technology underlying biological manufacturing as well as analytical techniques that support medical and industrial manufacturing activitiesAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and to work effectively with people at all levels in an organizationA strong degree in a relevant technical disciplineProven track record of developing new client relationships and generating business development opportunities that lead
