Head of HR

We are recruiting a Head of HR for a growing life sciences business based in South Cambridgeshire.
They employ around 100 people and they are looking to grow organically over the next three years. The employees are a mixture of Scientists, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Head Office functions all based on one site in South Cambridgeshire.
Reporting to the CEO for the UK business and leading a team of two HR Advisors.
It’s a full generalist role partnering with the business whilst being part of the SLT. The role can be offered on 4 or 5 days a week, 3 days a week will be based on site between the hours of 9-5.30pm.
A typical week could include - working with the senior management team.Coaching your team of HR AdvisorsBusiness partnering with your key stakeholdersProviding HR advice and guidanceSetting the HR strategy and objectives, managing ER issues, introducing new benefits, reviewing the appraisal systemDeveloping the behavioural framework / career pathwaysLeading on L&D initiatives to support new managers in their roles. You will be a pragmatic HR leader who has strong emotional intelligence and who is degree educated / CIPD qualified or equivalent in terms of experience.Previous experience of operating at SLT level and managing a small HR team is key.
