Job Description As the Head of HR Operations (HR Business Partnering and HR Services), you will report to the CPO and be a key member of the UK HR Leadership Team.You will lead a multi-stream HR function of:HR Business PartneringHR/ER AdvisoryHR Shared Services ServicesHR M&AED&IAll of which will be supported by additional Centres of Excellence in Talent Acquisition, Talent & Total Reward. You will be responsible for optimising the delivery of HR to the UK business, accountable for teams sat across both HR Business Partnering and HR Services. Although leading the partnering team from strategic level, your key focus of attention will be to lead and develop a more finely-tuned HR operations function in the short to medium term, to develop stronger foundations to support the partnering stream in delivering more commercial initiatives at a more strategic level.You will work closely with the HR Business Partnering team to provide the requisite knowledge and tools to empower them in providing an elite service to the business. You will also drive strategic alignment by collaborating with business leaders. Through the leadership of a centralised HR Services team, deliver excellent HR/ER advice and support to employees and line managers across the entire employee lifecycle.You will lead on ED&I initiatives within the business via an ED&I Specialist who reports to you.Always with a keen eye on continuous improvement, you will collaborate with the HR CoEs to ensure that processes and practices are consistently reviewed and improved.You will be responsible for tracking key metrics like eNPS and attrition. You will lead HR projects including M&A and ED&I initiatives. As a Champion of Communication, you'll lead on a HR Comms. You will also be responsible for contributing to Board packs and reporting packs. You will also work collaboratively with M&A to support in the smooth integration and harmonisation of employees transferring into the business via acquisition.
The Successful Applicant To apply for this role of Head of HR Operations (HR Business Partnering and HR Services), your profile will closely match the following:Experience of working in a Senior Generalist HR role, ideally for a business with a headcount of circa 2500-#####.Experience leading a HR Business Partnering function would be advantageous. Experience of working in or with a Shared Services Centre.Can evidence excellent stakeholder management and team management capability. The experience, confidence and skill set to serve as a coach/trusted advisor for senior leaders.Ability to create reporting packs for a senior stakeholder target audience.Experience working in a professional services environment would be advantageous. Commercial and business acumen and knowledge of how business and people KPIs can be improved by specific actions and initiatives. Strong relationship management, resilience, and consulting skills, with the proven ability to build trust across a diverse population of stakeholders & leaders.Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work in a matrix management model. Advanced communication skills, with the ability to influence, lead and negotiate in a variety of situations. Strategic and big picture thinking skills.Inclusive leader with the credibility and intellectual capacity to gain immediate respect with the leadership team and stakeholders.Recognised HR or related qualification and evidence of on-going continued professional development.This role can be based anywhere in the South of England.The company has a very flexible approach to working from home/being in the office. There are no set number of days when you have to be in the office/an office - it's basically down to you to determine what you need to do/where you need to be in order to successfully deliver in this role.Your local office would be used as your base. You would also need to be mobile in the sense that would need to travel to meet other stakeholders as and when - most are based more in the North.
