But we also know we must constantly evolve and transform the way we work to ensure we get the most from every pound we spend, so that we can continue to help and support the people we serve in the best way we can.This is the roleAs Head of HR Casework, it will be essential to lead and collaborate well, make good decisions, be risk aware, and use resources effectively to ensure the organisation thrives, is financially resilient and legally compliant. We are looking for someone who has a track record ofdriving organisational change and improvement initiatives. Your expertise will be key in adopting a system-wide approach to enhancing our case work management practices and utilising proactive initiatives to help drive down demand on the operations teams.Initially, your role will involve auditing our current HR operational practice, identifying areas for modernisation or improvement, and implementing transformational strategies that optimise our performance and outcomes. You will collaborate with different stakeholders across the organisation, including senior leaders and HR business partners to streamline operations, support cultural change, and build a resilient and agile workforce.You will work closely with both our Head of Policy, Reward & Relations in designing and implementing HR policies and processes, and our Service Improvement Manager in relation to our use of data and technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.As the operational case work lead, you will also be adept at finding creative solutions to workforce issues, that will require an excellent understanding of employment law, coupled with a risk aware and outcomes focused approach.This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation and drive change within our workforce.Presence in the office is vital to embed positive relationships from the outset. This is complimented by our hybrid working model.This is youYou will be an experienced leader and someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to inspire the HR team. You will be capable of building excellent working relationships within the Authority and with partners.
