Panoramic Associates are currently supporting a Local Authority client to assist in the appointment of an Interim Head of Highways and Transportation.

Your responsibilities will include leading the maintenance of highways infrastructure, ensuring the safety of streets, developing sustainable and universally accessible transport solutions, and significantly contributing to our carbon net-zero goals.

You will be responsible for 4 group areas:

Highways Asset Management - incl. Highway Maintenance, Streetlighting, Structures and Local Flood Risk Management
Client Commissioning
Traffic Management incl. Road Safety, Cycling, Streetscene Design, and capital improvements delivery.
Transportation Planning including Development Control; Highway Register; Transport Policy, Standards and Guidance; Supporting Measures (Travel Demand Management & Road Safety Education); Research and Strategy Development (incl LIP)Please apply via the advert or get in touch with Rashani Johnson to know more
