Due to retirement, we have a vacancy for a new Head of Health and Safety in our busy, varied and solution focussed health and safety team. We provide advice and guidance on health, safety and welfare issues across the council, safeguarding our diverse workforce, communities and others we work with to deliver our services.
In this strategic management position, you will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development and be a part of the HR Leadership Team and the council’s Leadership Network. Due to the importance of health and safety within our organisation, this role also has direct access to the Chief Executive.
