O ur Learning and Development business continues to grow and we are now looking for an experienced individual to join our vibrant office with hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience i n a similar ro le where they have gained knowledge and experience.

The Team
The Group Learning and Development (L&D) function sits within HR, it has expanded in support of the growth of the business and now needs to appoint a Head of Learning & Development to lead the learning team and develop strategies to provide a consistent and professional service across all business functions within the firm focusing on early careers, mainstream development, and late careers. Business functions have resources allocated to drive their specific L&D needs, and they work closely with the Group L&D function to ensure consistency and the sharing of ideas, knowledge and capabilities.
The Role
As a Head of Group Learning & Developement w ith XPS you will be:
Leading on multiple complex projects and delivery according to the brief provided
Managing external relationships including collaboration with third parties to develop best in class L&D products and services.
Staying abreast of the latest L&D industry trends and practices thereby creating plans on how to adopt these across the business.
Evaluating the effectiveness of learning and development programmes, resulting in continuous improvement.
Using relevant Management Information to inform decisions and make recommendations to senior stakeholders i.e. ExCo and design learning interventions for delivery in person or remotely via different platforms.
Your profile
Essential Criteria
Demonstrable experience of managing apprenticeship programmes with external providers to achieve agreed business and development outcomes.
Ability to design graduate training programmes across various business functions.
Proficiency in a range of learning and development initiatives, including the use of online learning platforms in a learning environment.
Deep understanding of methodologies used for the full learning cycle i.e. from needs identification through to evaluation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proven track record of coaching and mentoring skills.
Analytical problem-solving skills abilities, capable of processing new/complex issues and developing effective solutions promptly.
Proven management skills, including awareness of performance management, coaching and motivation techniques.
