We have over 1,600 employees globally and are currently looking for the newest member of our team.The Head of Payroll is a senior level role focused on driving TransferMate’s commercial strategy across the global payroll sector.
The role will be focused on providing innovative domestic/XB payment solutions to partners across the segment, including global payroll processing companies and Employer of Record enterprises.
The role holder will be tasked with building out a long term strategy to grow revenue & market share across the segment – through the identification, onboarding and monetization of global payroll and EOR partners.
TM’s goal is to build out E2E expertise in this segment, which includes selling international payables and collections solutions to clients and strategic partnerships.Reporting To: Chief Commercial OfficerObjective: Work
in partnership with the CCO to drive the new business acquisition strategy
for TransferMate in this particular vertical. Build
out a global strategy to capture aggressive market share across the payroll
segments
Build
out E2E infrastructure to create a seamless and frictionless customer
experiences
A ‘player-manager’ role
serving as primary point of contact and sales lead to TransferMate’s high
priority clients, direct opportunities and partnerships Identify, prospect and build
relationships across the Global Payroll space
Driving a team of sales/BDMs
whilst assisting and / or leading on large, strategic, multi-product,
complex business opportunities. Identifying new market
segments and partnerships for TransferMate to expand into within the
vertical. Build and manage a strong,
relevant and sustainable team pipeline Deliver high quality
personalised and relevant product pitches to potential partners/clients. Educate the team (key Sales
/ Relationship Teams) on key topics relating to local and regional payment
products, the competitive landscape, local regulations and complimentary
partner services. Leading by example, working
in partnership with shared service / sales support functions including but
not limited to Marketing, Compliance, Treasury, Product and IT. Proactively identify,
escalate and resolve business and technical issues with partners / clients
/ internal stakeholders Offer ongoing education and
support to partners/clients about current and future APIs and
TransferMate’s evolving product range
Minimum
12 years’ experience in the payment / Fintech / treasury / FX / Tier 1
Enterprise environment Relevant experience building
and leading high performing sales teams in multiple geographies and
markets. Knowledge/experience in the
payroll segment is preferred
A proven ability to build,
lead and drive partnerships and relationships with partners/clients A demonstrable track record
in delivering sales excellence, achieving and exceeding stretch targets
within the large enterprise / strategic partnership environment Experience working and
leading with in a fast paced environment whilst dealing with a high-degree
of ambiguity. Strong commercial focus
coupled with creative thinking and analytical logic Exceptional communication,
presentation and influencing skills; with familiarity and fluency in
technical concepts and associated language - ability to engage confidently
at all levels and business functions. An ability to lead, execute,
manage and oversee multiple time-sensitive opportunities at once A demonstrated ability to
think strategically about issues, forming recommendations and actionable
plans Regarded as a thought leader
with experience building and influencing sales strategies
Experience with meeting and
exceeding sales targets Entrepreneurial / innovative
ability to find opportunities and support the development new or
alternative propositions for clients
Own
and drive multiple opportunities with the ability to focus on multiple
short and long term sales cycle. High levels of personal
